Welcome to the Monday Messenger.

Every Monday, like clockwork now that it’s automated, you will receive the update from The Leadership Institute. The list of recipients is the same but instead of an email from me, it will be sent by Campaign Monitor and from Please make sure you check your junk folders beginning next week.

This site is for ministry leaders includes a section for resources. This will include forms, norms, and information that is normally included with our Monday updates.

You’ll also see links to upcoming events. These are also on the Institute’s site.

In time, there will be a directory of ministry leaders.

For today’s updates:

Parish Check In is tomorrow.

  • We will have someone from OSV joining us to talk about making your registration process easier and integrated with other parish records.
  • We will also discuss if there is a need for a virtual Confirmation retreat this spring and if there is a desire to repeat the First Holy Communion webinar (or in person?) next Spring.
  • I will be asking which children’s Bible you use on behalf of one of our parishes.
  • Someone has offered a baby grand piano to anyone who can pick it up (personal or parish use)

If you plan to have a Vacation Bible School or other summer program, we want to know. Fill out this survey so we can put you on the list to be published online.

Confirmation dates for Fall 2021 will be available after Easter.

The National Dialog report is available and we will be hosting conversations about the implication for ministry leaders. Be sure to sign up.

The Lenten calendar is here if you wish to continue to link to it.

Sadlier is offering a workshop about which I have included.

Have a great week. See you tomorrow.
