KNOW

If you go into LEAD this week, you will notice that Resources (top left) are now Channels. New channels are being added each week. The newest, Modern Parables, invites you to watch some really great short films and reflect on your call to ministry. Enjoy. [Shortcut here – requires login]

This week, faith formation leaders will meet with the Bishop on Wednesday at 11 am at the Catholic Center. Email Carmela if you have not yet responded. Stay after lunch for our post-directory conversation brainstorming. Pastors will meet with the Bishop on Thursday and principals on Friday. You know the topic. I hope to have the document to you by end of business Monday for your review.

Our friends at St. Rose invite you to share this flyer on an upcoming retreat for women.

In case you do not have a copy, the Confirmation liturgy planning document is here (pdf) and here (Word)- and so are the latest directives for celebrating Confirmation in our parishes. These docs will live here.

Finally, you should have received an email to begin the Understanding the Directory series in LEAD. If you did not receive an invitation, you can click this link to join the group. See this link if you do not have a clue what we are talking about. Once you join the group, you will see the video series (part one) on your LEAD dashboard.

REFLECT

Fr. Joe Gill does a really nice job of setting the scene when it comes to Divine Mercy Sunday. Yes, it was yesterday, but it doesn’t mean you still can’t learn and pray. See this link for more information.

And see this link for even more.

Let us continue to pray for each other this week.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase your mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to your holy will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen.
