If you are not yet a local leader in LEAD, please contact Carmela. You will need to be a local leader to track your folks effectively.

A local leader is someone who coordinates catechists, Readers, EMHCs, etc. and would like to benefit from tracking volunteers’ formation, send messages to them, build community with them, and the like. Formation for local leaders will begin next week (training in LEAD).

Catechetical Summit II  – Bishop Caggiano will meet with pastors and faith formation leaders to discuss his vision for renewal of catechetical programs, youth ministry, sacramental norms, etc. – 11 am on September 20, 2022 at Holy Spirit in Stamford. Lunch provided. Please RSVP to Barbara.Delmonico@diobpt.org. Every pastor and all faith formation leaders should make every effort to attend.

New parish catechetical leaders should plan to join Deacon John DiTaranto for the onboarding process we have created. Six months. Six great speakers. Everything you need to know to be successful. Contact Deacon John if you have not yet enrolled.

The Confirmation Spring 2023 – Guidelines, Request Form and Planner will go out today from the Bishop’s office. Please read the material carefully and if you have questions, direct them to the appropriate person.

REFLECT

School started today and I could not get myself out of bed. Covid has taken its toll – and I probably had a mild case. I will take the next day or so to rest and then head back to work this week. Let us continue to pray for all those young people for whom summer was not long enough – and for all those parents who whispered a prayer of thanksgiving when the bus arrived this morning.
