KNOW

Tomorrow is the Catechetical Summit II. Those pastors who have not responded will hear from the Bishop’s office today. For those faith formation leaders who have not responded, please email Barbara in the Bishop’s office today before 5 pm.

We begin at Holy Spirit in Stamford at 11 am and end at 2 pm. For more information, visit this page.

This is really not one of those meetings you can miss (which is why we have been talking about it for months). The Bishop plans to lay out his plans for the renewal of our catechetical efforts and you will want your parish to be involved.

The agenda of our discussion can be found here.

Because of the Catechetical Summit, there is no parish check in on Tuesday.

The Onboarding of new Faith Formation Leaders continues this week. More details are here.

REFLECT

Let us pray that we may be given grace to live as those who believe in the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, and the resurrection to eternal life.

Bring us, O Lord God, at our last awakening into the house and gate of heaven, to enter into that gate and dwell in that house, where there shall be no darkness nor dazzling, but one equal light; no noise nor silence, but one equal music; no fears nor hopes, but one equal possession; no ends nor beginnings, but one equal eternity; in the habitation of thy glory and dominion, world without end. Amen.

John Donne (1572-1631)

As prayed at this morning’s funeral service for Queen Elizabeth II
