KNOW

We have updated our collection of Lenten Resources. Check it out here. This year, we are not printing a poster. Instead, watch our social media channels for great resources.

Last call: Please forward the names and email addresses of all you invited to the parent meeting with the bishop (not just those who showed up) to Carmela, as the bishop requested so that he can follow up. Some parishes still have not done this. Meetings conclude soon.

The Rite of Election is coming up. See this memo for instructions on how to prepare your folks.

If you have practicing Catholics over the age of 18 who need only Confirmation, please send them to this link (assuming your parish does not offer formation).

We have updated the Start with Sunday site to include marketing materials. Could you check it out here?

SAVE THE DATE

On May 1st, Bishop Caggiano has invited all parish catechectical leaders and pastors to an Evangelization Summit to discuss how we can engage parents in the formation of their children. Read the invitation here.

REFLECT

Lord, here comes Lent. Again.

We are just a week and a half away from the season of hope, repentence, waiting, and praying. I probably should take the Christmas wreath down off the front door. It has lived much longer than I thought it would, but it should probably come down before it spontaneously combusts.

What will you do this Lent? Give up something? Set a goal? Pray more? Judge less? Read Scripture? With only ten days or so, it’s probably a good idea to start thinking about it.

In the meantime, have a good week.
