KNOW

The Rite of Election is coming up on February 26, 2023. To date, only three parishes have responded. Please check with your parish RCIA team and see what’s going on. For complete details, see this link. For an overview of RCIA, its timeline and tips, see RCIA guide 2023.

Our friends at NCCL are hosting some great webinars. See this page for complete list.

Lenten Resources are out. If you didn’t request posters, you can download them here.

Our good friend, Fr. Jorge Obregon, LC is hosting a healing retreat for adults in April. As we all know, there is a lot of hurt and pain that this current world is inflicting on our souls. And many times, people can’t even live the sacraments and have a normal prayer life due to many wounds. The retreat information can be found here.

Please do not forget that grant opportunities are now open with the JPII fund. Please see this memo and related information.

You can learn more about new features in LEAD by joining Carmela (Zoom link) and her next open office hours on Wednesday at 2:00 pm.

REFLECT

Nothing is more practical than
finding God, than
falling in Love
in a quite absolute, final way.
What you are in love with,
what seizes your imagination, will affect everything.
It will decide
what will get you out of bed in the morning,
what you do with your evenings,
how you spend your weekends,
what you read, whom you know,
what breaks your heart,
and what amazes you with joy and gratitude.
Fall in Love, stay in love,
and it will decide everything.

Often attributed to Fr. Pedro Arrupe, SJ (1907-1991), but actually written by Fr. Joseph Whelan, SJ. From “Finding God in All Things: A Marquette Prayer Book, 2009 Marquette University.
