KNOW
Tonight is the final face-to-face meeting for catechists. It’s at St. Leo in Stamford at 6:30 pm. If you have not yet updated your list of catechists in LEAD, please move this to the top of your very large pile. Invitations to learning and a meeting with the bishop in January will go out next week. No updates in LEAD means no invite to the meeting.
How can you extend faith formation to last the whole year? Well, find out tomorrow at our latest workshop. Details are here. We start at 9:30 am at Queen of Saints Hall at the Catholic Center.
Today and this week is moving time for the Institute for Catholic Formation. Just in case you are trying to call or email and there is a delay. We will do our best to respond as quickly as we usually do.
We have a virtual check in two weeks. Details are here.
There is another Lunch and Learn on December 18th. Details are here.
REFLECT
If we desire to move into a deeper relationship with God this Advent, it is essential that we live with unguarded hearts. Openness! Readiness! Patience! In order to go deeper into our interior life and
be molded by the Source of all life, it is important that we learn the art of creative waiting. It does not suggest that we sit inertly on the sidelines; nor does it encourage us to try to do everything on our own. Creative waiting is a deep listening that is at the heart of everything.
